Dr. Hoshi Bhiwandiwalla's passion for events and celebrity involvement began early in his career. He has played a pivotal role in giving many celebrities their first stage, pageant, or event experience. Over the years, numerous celebrities have acknowledged his mentorship and their bond with him despite their busy schedules. Starting at 16, Dr. Bhiwandiwalla organized events as the college general secretary, NM Alumni chairman, and cultural activities professor. In 1988, he founded Ekta Youth Trust, which hosted over 15 events annually, including youth festivals, pageants, and major Navratri celebrations with Falguni Pathak. This hands-on experience led Dr. Bhiwandiwalla to the idea of event education, creating Asia's first event management course through NIEM. Celebrities have been part of this journey in Ekta and later at NIEM, making it a hub for event education and industry connections.
At NIEM, renowned celebrities regularly visit in-house events to motivate and inspire students who dedicate their time and effort to planning and executing world-class events. Their presence excites participants and powerfully encourages students, highlighting the importance of dedication, creativity, and hard work in the event management industry. These interactions offer invaluable exposure, providing students insights from industry icons while reinforcing their commitment to excellence and passion for the event world.
